COHESIVE: COHErent Setup and Demonstration of Integrated Travel SerVices

Project Description

The overall goal of S2R-IP4 (Passenger Services) is to improve the traveler experience and the rail attractiveness, providing access to a complete-integrated-multimodal travel offer transparent to the end-user.

COHESIVE aims at integrating the various modules developed in all IP4 projects (such as ATTRACkTIVE and CO-ACTIVE) related to intermodal payment and user experience, as well as demonstrating the results and the large-scale potential deployment. More specifically, COHESIVE pursues:

• An integrated travel experience for the user in multimodal displacements, connecting the first and last mile to long distance; mainly by train but also by air and coach.
• A transparent access to all kind of travel services, integrated with the support of innovative digital technologies and accessible through a single point.

Indra's Role

Indra brings to the different IP4 projects its wide experience in offering technological solutions in transportation networks and infrastructure, for both infrastructure managers and transportation operators.

The integration and demonstration within COHESIVE of the components deployed by Indra in IP4 will allow to validate the new ticketing and transport services and technologies proposed for improving traveller´s experience and operator´s performance.
