Description of the Project

The ambition of the project is to generate a proposal for standards that will cover the full spectrum of capabilities required for Collaborative Air Combat, allowing:

• Operate heterogeneous manned and unmanned Assets during air operations (including its interoperability with NATO and with other possible coalitions).
• Efficient sharing of information from sensors and other on-board systems leading to information superiority, and therefore decisional superiority, key in the future operating environment. Indra´s Rol

Indra Sistemas and Indra Factoria Tecnologica, will contribute with their knowledge in the different work packages for the development of the standards; we will also coordinate WP5 and seven tasks (T3500, T4300, T5300, T7200, T9100, T10400 and T11200) four of which are deliverables to the European Commission. Indra will also be in the management body of the consortium (Steering Committee) with 7 other companies.

At the national level, Indra will be the national coordinator, carrying out the following responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between the Ministry of Defense and the national companies.
• Also, the coordination of national companies with the consortium
• Finally, provide support to national companies for the correct execution of the program.

The technologies to be studied during the project are still under discussion but will be related to:

• Artificial intelligence
• Complex hardware for Mission Execution systems
• Collaborative Combat Architecture (combat cloud)
• Sensorization systems and interfaces for their integration
• Effectors
