Indra Group has consolidated its standing as the world's third most sustainable company in the IT Services sector, according to S&P Global’s prestigious 2026 Sustainability Yearbook. It’s also the only European company included in the Top 10% of the world’s leading companies within its sector in terms of sustainability.
It has retained its position among the three most sustainable companies in the world for the third year in a row, strengthening its role as an international technological benchmark.
The recognition is based on S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), the most comprehensive and rigorous corporate sustainability assessment in the market. This analysis, which this year entailed an in-depth examination of over nine thousand companies, also constitutes the basis for the main international indexes, including the family of Dow Jones Best-in-Class indexes (formerly known as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index), in which Indra Group has continuously featured for almost two decades.
A comprehensive approach to sustainability
Indra Group’s inclusion in the 2026 Sustainability Yearbook is the result of its comprehensive approach to sustainability, encompassing the environmental, social, and governance spheres in a balanced manner. Among other aspects, Indra Group excels in terms of the stability of its corporate governance model, with the most stringent standards of ethics, transparency and risk management, its commitment to people, attracting and retaining talent, data privacy protection, and the integration of sustainability into its business strategy. These results reaffirm its position at the global forefront of sustainability and reflect its real integration into its strategy and business model.
“At a time of exponential growth within our industry, we’re managing to satisfy our customers’ rigorous demands to expand and invest while imposing the highest sustainability standards in the world and abiding by the strictest global criteria for our social, ethical, and governance model”, declared Manuel Ausaverri, Chief Strategy Officer at Indra Group.
With this latest acknowledgment, Indra Group has strengthened its standing as one of the technological companies best prepared to address the economic, social, and environmental challenges of the future and consolidated its position as a global benchmark for sustainability.
Leading the fight against climate change and environmental strategy
The aspects of Indra Group most highly valued by S&P Global include its performance in the area of climate change, for which the company has obtained the highest rating. This result backs up the recognition by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the leading international climate transparency index. In its latest edition, the CDP has once again awarded Indra Group its highest A List rating, acknowledging the company’s global leadership when it comes to climate action and transparency.
This recognition reflects the group’s firm commitment to decarbonization, setting out emission reduction goals aligned with science, the responsible management of the risks and opportunities associated with climate change, the integration of these criteria into its business strategy, and the development of technological solutions with a positive impact.
